Dr Yeap Ban Har

Dr Yeap Ban Har teaches mathematics education at the National Institute of Education (NIE). He trains primary and secondary mathematics teachers, and teaches graduate courses in mathematical problem solving. He has conducted workshops for teachers on the teaching of mathematics in various countries including Singapore, the region and beyond, in countries as diverse as South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Chile, the Netherlands and the U.S. Ban Har holds a Master of Education, a Master of Arts in Southeast Asian Studies and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Education. He received the Excellence in Teaching Commendation Award from NIE for three years in a row.
